There are a couple of really nice reviews of the book on Amazon.com. I hope to see even more.
I haven't had a great interest in making this a series, so that idea will stay in abeyance for now, I guess. Meanwhile I have now completed three books in the new Victorian series, which is more of a "cozy" than is
Golden Illuminati.
Victoriana remains my prime interest for writing mysteries and I look forward to doing many more.

On Facebook one is limited to no more than 5,000 Friends. It seems I've exceeded that quota. I have, then, started a Fan Page where there is no limit. If you would like to check it out it is at
http://www.facebook.com/pages/Raymond-Buckland/162325387148115?v=wall
There is a Discussion page there where I'll be happy to answer questions, make comments, chit-chat or whatever.
Meanwhile, I've been getting some wonderful feedback about
GOLDEN ILLUMINATI. We will be running an ad in the up-coming
Strand Magazine, which, hopefully, will bring a few more fans to this Victorian mystery. Please pass the word about this novel. I'm very pleased with it and would like to see it lead to more. Stay warm and wait for the spring!

I've had some feedback with those responding, saying they would like to see a follow-on to
GOLDEN ILLUMINATI. Possibly something like
SHADOW OF THE ILLUMINATI - A Lady Sarah and Sir Alec Chambers Mystery. Though it could have a different title and wouldn't have to carry on with the Illuminati as the antagonists; possibly something a complete change from Illuminati? There are so many possibilities but the main question is, would you like to see/hear more of Alec and Sarah's adventures fighting crime? Let me know.
Meanwhile, we will be running ads for the book in some of the major mystery magazines, like
STRAND and
MYSTERY SCENE.

GOLDEN ILLUMINATI was written with the idea of possibly making a
series about Alec Chambers and Sarah Wilde. I'm still considering that
although I have, for the moment, been absorbed in another Victorian
mystery series (closer to the "cozy" style) called
THE PENNY COURT ENQUIRERS.
I have already written two of those and am halfway through the third
one. It seems likely, then, that another Alec and Sarah adventure may
have to wait. Please let me know what you think of a follow-on from
GOLDEN ILLUMINATI. You can email me at raymond@raybuckland.com or you can post on my Facebook site.
Don't forget my two recent non-fiction books from
Pendraig Publishing:
Buckland's Domino Divination and
Buckland's Practical Color Magic.
